Micronutrient Data Innovation Alliance (DInA)
Regional Consultations
The Micronutrient Forum, with support from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, is pleased to announce the Micronutrient Data Innovation Alliance (DInA). DInA seeks to increase the availability, accessibility, and use of high-quality data for informing nutrition programs and policies. The primary early objective of DInA is to understand the needs of country-level stakeholders, and the barriers they face in collecting and using micronutrient data as they develop nutrition programs and policies.
DInA is hosting a series of 90-minute virtual meetings the week of June 13th and June 29th. Each meeting will have the same agenda but be held at different times to provide an option that will hopefully work in your time zone. These meetings will offer an overview of the alliance and our early outputs. The second half of the meeting will include a facilitated discussion to better understand how DInA can be of use to stakeholders who use or would like to use data in national or sub-national decision making. The outcomes will help shape the priorities of DInA with a focus on meeting the needs of national actors.
