The Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies Consortium (HMHB) is thrilled to announce the release of its 2022 Annual Report. This report highlights achievements and key activities undertaken throughout the year, following its unique “A-B-C Approach” – Advocacy, Brokering Knowledge, and Convening.
Engaging National Actors: HMHB actively engaged and supported national actors in high burden countries to adopt and scale multiple micronutrient supplementation (MMS) to improve maternal and child health outcomes.
Raising Awareness: HMHB played a pivotal role in raising awareness on women’s nutrition challenges in global fora, amplifying the voices of vulnerable pregnant women and advocating for policy changes to address critical issues.
New Partnerships and Collaborations: HMHB forged strategic partnerships and collaborations across maternal nutrition, health, and related fields, expanding its capacity, expertise, and reach to create greater impact.
Looking ahead to 2023, HMHB aims to broaden its focus beyond MMS to other maternal nutrition interventions and mobilize national actors in Africa through its upcoming regional meeting in Ethiopia.
