Call to Action: Zinc Fortification by IZiNCG

IZiNCG Steering Committee along with Food Fortification Initiative (FFI), GAIN, and Nutrition Internation has released the Call to Action on Zinc Fortification. This document provides an overview of the prevalence of zinc deficiency, the evidence in support of large scale zinc fortification as well as its benefits and highlights the priority actions for 35 countries where zinc deficiency is a public health issue.
